mike Makovsky, PhD: CEO of jinsa

Since 2013. Mr. Makovsky has been President and CEO of the Jewish Institute for National Security of America (JINSA), a leading Washington, D.C.-based policy and educational organization focused on U.S. defense and national security issues in the Middle East. Makovsky has worked extensively on U.S.- Israel defense ties, U.S. policy toward Iran, Syria, Iraq, Gaza, the Persian Gulf, the role of energy in U.S. national security policy, and the Eastern Mediterranean. Previously, Makovsky served as Foreign Policy Director for the Bipartisan Policy Center, special assistant in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and an energy market analyst for various investment firms. Makovsky has a Ph.D. in diplomatic history from Harvard University, an MBA in finance from Columbia Business School, and a B.A. in history from the University of Chicago. 

Brian tuskan: Former CSO, Microsoft & servicenow

Brian Tuskan is one of the highest profile Chief Security Officers in the global corporate security industry.  He began his career in law enforcement, starting as a beat cop and expanding into multiagency task forces with federal, state, and local partners. This foundation launched his 20+ year journey in global corporate security leadership. As the CSO for Microsoft Global Security, he helped shape one of the world’s most advanced intelligence-driven physical security ecosystems. After Microsoft he joined ServiceNow as VP & Chief Security Officer, where he built and scaled a global safety and security function from the ground up for one of the fastest-growing enterprise tech companies. Today, Brian advises and invests in AI startups focused on safety and security.
